         FRENCH TYPE BLOCK (PANORAMIC)

A French casement window is a wide door structure that extends from the floor to the ceiling. This variant is mainly found in modern apartment buildings as well as in private homes.
  Installing a panoramic balcony module in older flats is problematic, as not only does the cavity wall have to be removed, but also the radiator has to be relocated.
This type of balcony glazing ensures maximum natural light, a luxurious appearance and a visual enhancement of the space.
The advantages of French glazing include:

  • Increased brightness of the flat, which saves on electricity, as the light in the flat will have to be switched on less often (especially in summer, when the duration of daylight is at its maximum);

  • additional sound and heat insulation;

  • elegant design of balcony glazing (owners of this type of balcony glazing notice that the desire to turn the available space into a storage room for unnecessary things disappears completely).

  • Disadvantages of French glazing include

  • higher price compared to standard glazing methods

  • the need for regular maintenance (the surface area of the window increases approximately 2 times; therefore, more time is needed for cleaning)

  • the rapid heating of the balcony area in summer and the same cooling in winter, with the additional cost of installing high quality glazing to retain heat in winter and protect from UV radiation in summer.
