BALCONY DOORS (BY MATERIAL)

WOODEN DOORS
MONACOR works individually with each client to find the most suitable practices and techniques that will allow the best possible use of the wood.
Wooden doors
In contrast to old-fashioned door constructions, modern wooden balcony doors are a very good choice. These doors are made of glued laminated timber, which makes them very strong. Wooden doors usually have wooden or MDF panels.
Advantages of wooden balcony doors:
-
Environmentally friendly;
-
Their attractive natural wood look complements the interior design of the house;
-
They are easy to use, as the doors are equipped with modern, high-quality fittings;
-
The high thermal insulation properties of wood make the doors extraordinarily comfortable in all seasons.
-
Disadvantages of wooden doors
-
If the balcony is not glazed from the outside, moisture penetrating from the street will affect the door. This can lead to deformation and difficulties in opening and closing the door;
High cost, much higher than PVC constructions.
Also, they can be used to their full potential. Is presentation preparation what you need? Book this service to find out more.

PVC (POLYVINYL CHLORIDE) DOORS
Single-leaf balcony doors create better thermal insulation, which ensures a stable room temperature. In summer, the door can be used as part of the ventilation by opening the door leaf fully or partially.
Monacor single-leaf doors are comfortable products that provide comfort of use and aesthetic appeal in the interior.
Double-leaf balcony doors are considered to be more efficient and wider than single-leaf doors. Plastic double-leaf balcony doors can be used when the door width is more than one metre.
The advantage of PVC double-leaf constructions, in addition to the high light permeability, is their size, as large objects can be transported through these openings.
A sliding balcony system is a free-standing construction, not included in the main room. The main advantage of sliding doors is that they save space in the room, which is very important for small flats. They are also called compartmentalised (based on the principle of wardrobes) and panoramic. They bring elegance and lightness to the room and show that the balcony is not a storage space for unnecessary objects, but a cosy corner in the home.
Advantages of a sliding system:
-
More natural light;
-
saving the space not taken up by the open sash
-
an original and attractive appearance
-
Quiet operation of the mechanism
-
excellent thermal and acoustic insulation
-
excellent locking system, which protects against unauthorised access to the house.

GLASS DOORS
This type of balcony door is frameless. They consist of glazed units and controlled fittings.
Advantages of glazed doors
-
they allow the room to be filled with light to the maximum;
-
rooms are visually enlarged;
-
unusual and attractive appearance;
-
The doors are environmentally friendly and safe to use.
Disadvantages of glass doors:
-
High cost due to the use of expensive glass;
-
doors are heavy
-
Low thermal insulation and air tightness, so they are only recommended for use on a glazed and insulated balcony or loggia;
-
Installation by a professional technician must be very precise. Otherwise, a slight misadjustment can compromise the perfect fit of the leaves.
