THE DOOR OPENS ALONG THE WAY:

ACCORDION DOORS

Recently, the use of folding balcony doors has become increasingly popular. There is a good reason for installing them: they save space and make the most of the natural light in the room.
  The system consists of plastic profiles and leaves. To dampen noise and save energy, double and triple glazing is installed.
  The door leaf is made up of a number of slats, which form an accordion when opened. Their main advantage is that they take up minimal space when the door is open, thus saving space in the room. PVC folding doors can consist of glazed or plain slats.
The slats are held together by a heavy-duty rubber seal. This ensures that the system opens and closes quietly.
The advantages of an accordion balcony door
Resistant to temperature fluctuations, UV rays and corrosion. Doors do not warp, swell or crack.
Possibility to create original design solutions, e.g. by applying laminate on the inside and outside of the door leaf.
Easy maintenance. The paint on the doors does not need to be renewed and can be cleaned with a damp cloth or tissue.
Long service life.
Folding doors are installed in residential and public buildings. They are an excellent addition to loggias, verandas and winter gardens. Thanks to their airtightness, they are also ideal for sound and heat insulation.

BLIND BALCONY DOOR

The hallmark of a blind door is a leaf filled with an opaque (non-glass) material. The most common variant are plastic sandwich panels with internal cavities.

   Depending on the purpose of the door, the cavities can be filled with thermal insulation material or remain airless.

  External doors are usually insulated, internal doors do not need to be insulated. These doors are most often installed for entrances to commercial premises.

SWING DOORS

Tilt and turn doors are relatively practical. This type of construction allows the door to be used both to enter a balcony and to ventilate a room. They are suitable for flats, private homes, offices and workplaces.
  Compared to hinged doors, hinged doors have the option of ventilation with minimal heat loss.
  Hinged doors open on side hinges, like classic revolving doors, and are pushed into the room at the bottom hinge.
   Sliding designs beat the previous categories by saving usable space in the room. The sliding mechanism of the portal makes it possible to utilise the space around the door opening.
   General advantages of tilt and turn models
Practicality;
universality;
ease of installation;
regulation of ventilation intensity;
protection against draughts, humidity and noise.
  The disadvantage of this type is the complicated design of the opening mechanism. This makes it a little more difficult to repair, and also reduces durability when used too intensively.

REVOLVING DOORS:

Hinged doors are traditional doors that can be opened to one or both sides by means of a pivot mechanism. It is the most popular and economical model.
   In this type of door, both leaves open and the fixed vertical lintel between them helps to maintain the geometry of the PVC structure, maintaining good contact around the perimeter. This allows the thermal and acoustic insulation to be maintained. The customer decides the opening direction of the doors.
   Hinged doors guarantee maximum airtightness and are therefore recommended for installation in cold balcony glazing.
   Hinged doors are perfectly suited to both classic room styles and modern design trends such as high-tech.

SLIDING DOORS:

Balcony doors do not have a fixed vertical mullion and have the particularity of opening the leaves in sequence. One leaf is active and the other remains temporarily immobile thanks to the fixing bolts at the top and bottom of the leaf.
   These bolts are operated individually or by means of a special drive, which is concealed in the end of the inactive leaf. Depending on the brand of hardware, the passive leaf is also equipped with a handle. These constructions are mainly used in private homes for glazing terraces, swimming pool exits or other rooms where the door width needs to be increased quickly.
Advantages of the rebated door
Increased light transmission. More natural light enters the room.
Large door opening. Table and other furniture can be moved out onto the balcony.
Maximum interior comfort. PVC elements are characterised by good heat and sound insulation.
Elegant appearance, both indoors and outdoors.
