MODULAR HOUSES

Modular construction is a new trend in modern low-rise construction. It is also called "semi-finished construction". It is so called because it uses prefabricated units with walls, roof and floor that do not need to be built separately.

The block container is made from standard shipping containers, upgraded to varying degrees.  It consists of a welded frame clad with steel plates. The outer shell is made of smooth sheet metal and the inner shell of corrugated sheet metal. The wall space is filled with thermal insulation. Its thickness depends on the climatic version of the container. A durable paint coating, which is optimally combined with the strength of the laminated sheet metal, provides the container block with a high level of vandal protection. The robust metal frame ensures that the prefabricated structure has a stable geometry throughout its service life.

If you need to create a complete house, it is necessary to use several containers connected together. In other words, a modular house is created.

The company "Monacor" is professionally engaged in the creation of modular constructions of the highest quality. Basic communications (ventilation, wiring, sewerage) can be provided. Ordering a modular construction from block containers will cost you much less than a permanent construction.

   1. Lower cost: Modular construction is often cheaper than traditional construction, due to standardisation of processes and efficient use of materials and labour.
2.    Adaptability to terrain: Modular homes can be adapted to different types of terrain, including sloping or geotechnically difficult terrain.
3.    Low maintenance: Wooden modular homes require less maintenance than traditional constructions, especially if weather and wear resistant materials are used.
4.    Less construction time: By reducing construction time, disturbance to neighbours is minimised and the process of occupying the house is speeded up.
5.    Customisation: Modular homes offer greater flexibility in terms of design and adaptation to the needs of each client.
6.    Seismic resistance: Wooden modular homes are more flexible and resistant to seismic movements than concrete and brick constructions.
7.    Controlled quality: Manufacturing in a plant allows the quality of materials and construction to be controlled and guaranteed, as strict quality control protocols are followed.
8.    Reduced waste: Modular construction generates less material waste, as project-specific parts are manufactured, reducing excess material and waste.
9.    Energy efficiency: Modular homes tend to be more energy efficient, as they are built using techniques and materials that are more energy efficient.
