TEMPERED GLASS
The fused glass is very durable, heat-resistant and has a flawlessly smooth and shiny surface. It is highly impact-resistant and can withstand even a hammer blow. It is characterised by maximum safety, as the splinters have blunt edges in case of breakage and it is impossible to injure them. Doors made of this material are manufactured without a frame.
Let us mention the main advantages of tempered glass doors:
The possibility of different design solutions. Combination with other materials, colouring, creation of not only rectangular, but even semi-circular structures is a good design idea. No other material is so diverse.
Strength combined with lightness. Of course, the strongest doors are made of thick steel. But if the corridor is quite large, the metal construction literally "squeezes": it is bulky and heavy. Glass, even with a large surface, seems light. Thanks to the hardening, it is strong enough to prevent breakage and protect the room from intruders.
Enlargement of space. Transparent panes visually enlarge small rooms or offices. Glass doors in small boutiques or offices can be combined with the walls themselves.
Transparency. This is one of the main advantages of glass. It allows sunlight to enter, which helps to increase the brightness near the door. Coloured glass is particularly noteworthy.
