INTERIOR DESIGN:
The home is the place where we spend most of our lives. How cosy, beautiful and functional each room is depends on whether we want to rest here, receive guests or come back after a day's work.
An interior is a functional, comfortable, beautiful environment that reflects a person's inner world and character, lifestyle, values and habits.
Interior design is a branch of design that aims to make the environment comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to people. Interior design combines artistic and industrial design. It is the interior design of spaces. It can be offices, restaurants, shops and, of course, flats. The process involves knowledge in various fields: from construction to colour schemes.
Interior design begins with a design project: a set of documents describing functional and design solutions, containing drawings and descriptions of all details of the future interior, including finishes and location of communications[1]. The project includes a specification describing the client's requirements and wishes. First, measurements of the room are taken, after which planning decisions are made and sketches are drawn up. In this phase, the designer proposes several layout options to the client with the allocation of the main functional areas and the arrangement of the furniture. After approval of the placement of the zones, plans are drawn up for electrical wiring and the location of electrical appliances (lighting, electric heating, etc.); if necessary, plans are executed for layout changes, ceiling and floor covering plan, location of sanitary ware, sheets with information on finishing and ordering materials, furniture and decorative items.
The next phase is the execution of the planned works; at this stage the designer supervises the work of the finishing and renovation teams, providing the client with the necessary cost estimates.
Modern design is highly customised. The main task - to make the interior for himself, to create a suitable and comfortable environment for people to develop the interior design so that it is in harmony with its interior state. The basis of this style is a lot of air, light, space and no unnecessary decoration and details.
