GARAGE DOOR:
A garage door is not only an important element of the exterior, but also a protection for your vehicle. Before choosing a garage door, you should consider factors such as the size and type of opening, the method of installation and operation, and the desired additional features.

PUERTA DE GARAJE CORREDERA:
The principle of a sliding door is to open the door to one side, parallel to the gable. To function properly, these structures must have a sufficiently large space in the front wall of the garage.
A sliding garage door is a single-leaf door consisting of a metal frame covered with sheet metal or board. There are three installation options:
on the bottom bracket
at the top;
suspended from a cantilever.
The structure is installed at a certain distance from the ground and moves along the garage opening manually or with the help of an operator. The motor allows the garage to be opened remotely without leaving the vehicle. The advantages of the model include the possibility of installation at any height, the minimum space requirement for opening, reliable corrosion protection and an aesthetically pleasing finish. The relatively high price is due to the ease of operation and the absence of opening problems in the event of heavy snowfall.
In all cases, the door construction includes rollers and guides. The former move the entire structure on the latter. The door is opened by sliding it along the garage wall. The door can be opened manually or with a motor.
The advantages of the sliding model
do not take up space in the garage
easy to automate
More affordable than sectional, roller and up-and-over doors.
burglary-resistant;
no need to clear snow in front of them.
Disadvantages:
concreting of the rails and installation site of the actuator, which increases the cost of the product;
space required along the wall;
impossibility to install a wicket door.
Sliding gates are more suitable for industrial buildings or entrances to guarded areas than for garages.

LIFT-UP SLIDING DOOR:
Garage doors of this design differ significantly from the previous ones. This is an all-metal panel that, when raised, rises parallel to the ceiling on a special platform. The movement is backwards and upwards. In the open position, the sash is placed parallel to the ceiling surface and takes up hardly any space.
The guide system allows the leaf to move vertically or horizontally to close and open the garage, respectively.
It is a versatile model suitable for commercial and private garages.
The frame is made of aluminum profile tube, and the coating can be made of different materials, according to the customer's requirements. This system also has advantages and disadvantages.
This type of all-metal shield leaves no room for intrusion from the outside. It is quite solid and therefore impossible to force. If you wish, you can install an electric remote control.
This type of garage door is more suitable when there is heating in the room or in hot climates, because this opening mechanism does not help to keep the heat inside the garage.
This model has the following advantages
greater resistance to theft
easy opening in mechanical or automatic mode,
reliable corrosion protection in the form of galvanizing and plastic coating,
the possibility of using it to create double garage spaces.

REVOLVING GARAGE DOOR:
The most popular variant, which is used depending on the desired opening direction, e.g. outwards or inwards. The material used for this type of door varies between corrugated sheet metal, sandwich panels, metal and panels.
The construction consists of two fixed leaves that are mounted on hinges in the opening or in the side stiles. Depending on the type of hinge, the door can also open inwards or outwards, which requires additional space in the garage.
The door leaves are positioned so that they can open inwards as well as outwards. If desired, a wicket door can be fitted in one of the door leaves for added convenience.
This is the cheapest and simplest option. It is also very convenient because the door frame is made of tubular steel and the cladding can be made of any material. If desired, it can be lined with thermal insulation and fitted with an electric drive.
ROLLER GARAGE DOORS:
This garage door is also called a roller shutter because of the similarity of its mechanism to that of window roller shutters. The aluminium slats that make up the construction are joined together to form a flexible leaf and are concealed in a special container at the top.
The movement of the fabric runs on guides placed in a protective box at the top of the garage, the slats are wound on a drive shaft which can be installed either outside or inside the garage.
Advantages:
-
ease of use;
-
low weight;
-
variety of decorations;
-
no space required inside or outside the garage;
-
possibility of automation.
On the negative side
high price
low thermal and acoustic insulation characteristics.
It is important to note that roller shutters can be installed on the inside wall of the room, on the outside wall or directly in the opening. In the latter case, the height of the opening is reduced by the size of the roller with the rolled-up slats. This is an important consideration when installing the garage door.
Roller garage doors should preferably be installed in the presence of additional security elements (alarm system) or in an enclosure with a permit system, as this type of construction cannot provide adequate vehicle security.
