AUTOMATIC GLASS DOORS BY TYPE OF FUNCTION:

SLIDING ARCHES

This mechanism is the same as that of a sliding door, but with an arched glass plane. These doors do not move in a straight line, but in a semicircle. Their main advantage is their unusual and presentable appearance.

They are installed on a rounded contour and look quite elegant. The installation of these doors has a number of special features and is suitable for buildings that do not have a large volume of visitors.

REVOLVING DOORS

These are large capacity doors with good thermal protection.  They are automatic revolving glass doors that allow entry and exit by rotating the leaves around an axis. They have the advantage of offering a large passage capacity.

Normally, revolving doors are mainly used at the entrance of a building. All revolving doors offer excellent protection against draughts, noise, dust and dirt.

Thanks to their unique construction, revolving doors are never left open, always separating the indoor and outdoor climatic conditions. This increases the energy efficiency of buildings, which generates significant economic benefits. In addition, these doors help to create a comfortable indoor climate in entrance areas, which can then be fully utilised as usable space.

PUERTAS CORREDERAS

Sliding glass doors, unlike hinged doors, do not take up much space when open, which is important in a small flat. All that is needed is a minimum of space along the wall. In some cases, the door can slide into the wall with a cassette mechanism.

With these doors, the leaves move in opposite directions when a visitor arrives. They are characterised by a high opening and closing speed, take up minimal space in any position, but have a lower thermal insulation of the entrance.

The main disadvantage is their complicated installation. The door opening must be wide enough and the wall must have a large surface area.

There are three types of sliding glass doors: cassette, compartment and sliding. They all have their own characteristics and are suitable for installation in different types of rooms. Their main advantage is their compact size.

They can be installed in buildings with a large number of people: supermarkets, large shopping centres, airports, railway stations.

SWING DOORS

Hinged glass doors have as many advantages as sliding doors. This option is familiar and easy to use. With clear glass, the room can be filled with space and light, which is important for small rooms.

They can open in one direction, for example inwards, or swing in two directions to allow greater accessibility.

FOLDING DOOR

This mechanism allows automatic glass doors to be folded into bookends. The door leaves are fixed together by means of hinges. These systems are mainly installed in narrow openings.

Folding doors guarantee a working width almost equal to the width of the opening. This allows maximum use of the space in the door opening.

SLIDING SWING DOORS

This mechanism is completely similar to that of the sliding door, but also has the well-known hinged opening mechanism. The swing door function can have a movable and a fixed door leaf. This is useful in case of door locking, power failure and other cases of entry-exit arrangements.

It is the same as a sliding door, but with a panic function, where the door can be opened as a simple swing door.
